“ Why did I wait so long to try Sams? Ive missed so many years of amazing pizza!! Pizza was excellent. Crust is firm and perfect thickness. Sauce and cheese is amazing. Quick service and plenty of room. I wont wait in line down the boardwalk for it like some people do but I'll hit it up again. Place is big and standard and chill. Screw Macos and Macos. Sloppy crap. Hit here for Wildwood and Preps in OC! ”
“ I've had my fare share of concession stand pizza and this place makes my top 10! Came in with a group of friends for 2 pies and they came out within 10 mins. We ordered one of the pies well done and they didn't mind accommodating. The pizza is nice and thin with a crisp bottom and they have a perfect cheese to sauce ratio. They have red pepper flakes and oregano at the table but unfortunately no parm. ”
“ BEST PIZZA EVER!! its pretty self explanatory. I literally never had a bad slice at Sam's, service is always good, pizza is always great, and they never forget my drink! The service is so nice and fast at making the pizza. The longest we ever waited was probably 10 minutes at the MAX! I go there every time im in Wildwood. 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend!! ”
“ The Three-Slice Challenge is a recent family tradition that continues to this day. On our first leg of the challenge, we stopped at Mack's Pizza for a delicious plain slice. Freshly made, it was a little doughy, a little cheesy, and had sweet tasting tomato sauce. I liked it more than my kids. It reminded me of a good shore slice. Some say it's the best slice of pizza you can get in Wildwood. At $9 for three slices, it was a good deal. Four stars overall for our experience. On our second leg of the challenge, we went to Sam's Pizza Palace, my kids' favorite. Even though our slices were not fresh out of the oven, they were crispier, had a little more cheese, and had a sauce that was not so sweet but tasted more like the tanginess of tomato paste. I'll have to admit I like this slice better. At $8.25 for three slices, it was a great deal. Five stars overall for our experience. On our third leg of the challenge, we went to Sorrento's II. The slices were larger, more doughy, more cheesy, and with a similar taste profile to Sam's... but we didn't like it. Bigger is not always better. My kids got bbq chicken slices. One liked it. The other said the chicken tasted old. At a whopping $18 for three slices, it was a terrible deal. Two stars overall for our experience. ”
“ The best of the boardwalk pizza in Wildwood and perhaps even the entire Jersey shore. Thin and crispy with its roots from Trenton, NJ (the true pizza capital of the world). It's a hell of a Jawn. ”
“ We heard this place is super popular and difficult to reach by phone. We were on the board walk and stopped in for some pizza. The service was quick and it was easy to order. The pizza was ok, thin crispy crust and I liked the flavor of the sausage (thinly sliced). Great price too! ”
“ Yes we walked the whole boardwalk just for our first slice of Sam's of the summer, my 13 year old son self proclaimed pizza connoisseur would have it no other way. Of course we had our soda with the best ice ever to go with it. ”
“ Best pizza on the Wildwood boardwalk! I love the slight sweetness to the sauce. Our pies are always baked perfectly and come out warm and tasty. They are usually busy during summer season, but even then the wait is usually only ever like 20-30 minutes maximum. The line always moves quickly. There is plenty of indoor and counter-bar seating. They serve pizza and drinks, no fries, but they allow you to bring fries in. It is very casual inside, usually a mix of boardwalk goers and beach day enders. The waitresses are very nice and fast. ”
